The ACSD 2024 will take place on 14th June 2024 at the Faculty of Computer Science of the University of Vienna, Währingerstraße 29, Hörsaal (lecture room) 1.

The Austrian Computer Science Day (ACSD) is an annual assembly to bring together computer scientists from Austria and beyond to improve visibility of the field and foster collaboration. The event features scientific presentations by established and early-stage researchers. Participation is free of charge. The topic in 2024 is "Networks in Artificial Intelligence".

Networks in Artificial Intelligence

We are witnessing artificial intelligence breakthroughs with an unforeseeable impact on society, science, and the economy, with computer science playing a pivotal role in this development. At the same time, linked data is becoming increasingly ubiquitous, e.g., in the form of online social networks, the Internet of Things, biological networks, and molecular graphs. In all these areas, data grows rapidly and offers exciting new applications and methodological challenges for artificial intelligence. The ACSD 2024 will explore this recent development from different perspectives with talks by leading computer scientists and provide a platform for discussions on this topic and beyond.
